Our analysis looked at 974 schools in the United States to see which bachelor's degree programs were the most popular for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Sociology program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of California - Los Angeles the most popular school in the United States for sociology students working on their bachelor’s degree. UCLA is a very large public school located in the city of Los Angeles.

About 72% of the students majoring in sociology at the school are women while 28% are male.

On average, sociology graduates from UCLA take out $16,082 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $223.
