This report analyzed 465 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Social Sciences program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for social sciences majors pursuing a master's degree.

Our analysis found Johns Hopkins University to be the most popular school for social sciences students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. Located in the city of Baltimore, Johns Hopkins is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.

About 46% of the students majoring in social sciences at the school are women while 54% are male.
