General Education is the #39 most popular major in the country with 29,810 degrees and certificates awarded in 2020-2021.

Today's students have lots of options to pick from when considering higher education opportunities. To help you arm yourself with the information you need to make your decision, Course Advisor has developed this Most Popular General Education Schools ranking. This report analyzed 834 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the General Education program at each school on the list.

Education majors at UC Irvine take out an average of $15,000 in student loans while working on their egree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $230.
