This report analyzed 687 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the General Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Maryland - College Park to be the most popular school for general engineering students who want to pursue a degree in the United States. UMCP is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of College Park.

On average, engineering graduates from UMCP take out $26,000 in student loans while working on their degree. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $303.
