Our analysis found Texas State University to be the best school for dance students who want to pursue a degree in the Southwest Region . Located in the small city of San Marcos, Texas State is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Sam Houston State University landed the #10 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best dance programs. SHSU is a very large public school located in the town of Huntsville.
