To help you arm yourself with the information you need to make your decision, Course Advisor has developed this Most Popular History Schools in the Southwest Region ranking. This report analyzed 140 schools in the Southwest Region to see which ones were the most popular programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the History program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Arizona State University - Skysong to be the most popular school for history students who want to pursue a degree in the Southwest Region . ASU - Skysong is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Scottsdale.

History majors at ASU - Skysong take out an average of $28,276 in student loans while working on their egree. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $295, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of North Texas is a great place for history students. Located in the medium-sized city of Denton, UNT is a public school with a very large student population.

While working on their degree, history majors at UNT accumulate an average of around $25,000 in student debt. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $246.

Located in the medium-sized city of College Station, Texas A&M College Station is a public school with a very large student population.
