Out of the 26 schools in Arizona that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Arizona landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the large city of Tucson, University of Arizona is a public college with a fairly large student population.

The average amount in student loans that engineering majors at University of Arizona take out is $22,768. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $178, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.
