Our analysis looked at 292 schools in the Southeast Region to see which master's degree programs were the most popular for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Education program at each school on the list.

Top 25 Most Popular Southeast Region Schools for a Master's in Education
Our 2023 rankings named Liberty University the most popular school in the Southeast Region for education students working on their master’s degree. Liberty University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Lynchburg.
Of the 1,881 students majoring in education at Liberty University, 20% are male and 80% are female.
Out of the 292 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of the Cumberlands landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the remote town of Williamsburg, Cumberlands is a private not-for-profit college with a large student population.
