Our analysis found University of California - Los Angeles to be the most popular school for urban and regional planning students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. Located in the city of Los Angeles, UCLA is a public school with a very large student population.

About 65% of the students majoring in urban planning at the school are women while 35% are male.

Out of the 96 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Southern California landed the # 2 spot on the list. USC is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Los Angeles.

Of the 54 students majoring in urban planning at USC, 44% are male and 56% are female.

Out of the 96 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Washington - Seattle Campus landed the # 3 spot on the list. UW Seattle is a very large public school located in the large city of Seattle.

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus is a great place for urban and regional planning students working on their master’s degree. CU Anschutz is a fairly large public school located in the city of Denver.
