With a ranking of #7, Bentley University did quite well on this year’s best schools for students working on their master’s degree.

Boston College came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Best Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region ranking.
Online graduate courses are available at Boston College, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. During the 2019-2020 year, about 66% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
Fairfield University ranked #9 on this year’s Best Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list.

New England Institute of Technology landed the #10 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree programs.

Northeastern University landed the #12 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree programs.
One thing to take note of is that Northeastern does offer online graduate classes in some areas. In 2019-2020 about 29% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute landed the #13 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree programs.
You may have the opportunity to take online graduate classes at WPI. In fact, around 37% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
Quinnipiac University came in at #14 in this year’s edition of the Best Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region ranking.
You may have the opportunity to take online graduate classes at Quinnipiac. In 2019-2020 about 52% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Norwich University landed the #15 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree programs.
Norwich is one of the schools on our list that is primarily online. Each graduate student at the school took at least one class online.
Northeastern University Professional Advancement Network did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #16 on the list.

Providence College landed the #19 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree programs.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online graduate classes at Providence. In 2019-2020 about 75% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Brandeis University came in at #20 in this year’s edition of the Best Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region ranking.

Wentworth Institute of Technology ranked #21 on this year’s Best Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list.
