Our 2023 rankings named Oregon Institute of Technology the best school in Oregon for students working on their bachelor’s degree.
Full-time students from Oregon pay an average of $11,732 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend OIT. Out-of-state students pay an average of $32,625. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $30,808 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Online courses are available at OIT, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 31% took at least some of their classes online.
The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at Linfield University - McMinnville Campus helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best schools in Oregon.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means University of Portland is a great place for students working on their bachelor’s degree.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $49,864 to cover tuition and fees at University of Portland. The school does not offer an in-state discount. Eastern Oregon University landed the #9 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best bachelor’s degree programs.

One thing to take note of is that EOU does offer online classes in some areas. During the 2019-2020 year, about 95% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
Lewis & Clark College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #10 on the list.
Lewis and Clark College does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $57,404. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid.
Some students may be able to take online classes at Lewis and Clark College. In 2019-2020 about 88% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
University of Oregon came in at #11 in this year’s edition of the Best Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Oregon ranking.
