To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Music program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found California State University - Northridge to be the most popular school for music students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Far Western US Region . Located in the city of Northridge, CSUN is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 118 students majoring in music at CSUN, 64% are male and 36% are female.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, music majors at CSUN accumulate an average of around $18,655 in student debt.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at California State University - Long Beach helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular music schools in the Far Western US Region . CSULB is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Long Beach.

Women make up 44% of the music majors at the school.
