To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Dance program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found The University of Alabama to be the most popular school for dance students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Southeast Region . Located in the small city of Tuscaloosa, UA is a public school with a very large student population.

About 92% of the students majoring in dance at the school are women while 8% are male.

Gainesville, FL

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Florida is a great place for dance students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Gainesville, UF is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 31 students majoring in dance at UF, 13% are male and 87% are female.

Dance majors at UF take out an average of $22,811 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

Out of the 52 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of North Carolina School of the Arts landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the city of Winston-Salem, UNCSA is a public school with a small student population.

Of the 25 students majoring in dance at UNCSA, 24% are male and 76% are female.

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means University of North Carolina at Greensboro is a great place for dance students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the city of Greensboro, UNC Greensboro is a public school with a fairly large student population.
