To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Psychology program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Nova Southeastern University to be the most popular school for psychology students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Southeast Region . NUS Florida is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Fort Lauderdale.
Of the 96 students majoring in psychology at NUS Florida, 22% are male and 78% are female.
Out of the 76 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Liberty University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Liberty University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Lynchburg.

With a ranking of #6, Regent University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for psychology students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the large city of Virginia Beach, Regent is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
Women make up 77% of the psychology majors at the school.
Carlos Albizu University - Miami came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Psychology Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. Located in the city of Miami, Carlos Albizu University - Miami is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly small student population.
Of the 30 students majoring in psychology at Carlos Albizu University - Miami, 17% are male and 83% are female.
