To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Chemistry program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Cornell University the most popular school in New York for chemistry students working on their master’s degree. Cornell is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Ithaca.

Of the 36 students majoring in chemistry at Cornell, 50% are male and 50% are female.

Located in the large city of New York, Columbia is a private not-for-profit school with a very large student population.
