The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of Houston helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular chemistry schools in the Southwest Region . UH is a very large public school located in the large city of Houston.

About 29% of the students majoring in chemistry at the school are women while 71% are male.

Out of the 22 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, The University of Texas at Dallas landed the # 4 spot on the list. UT Dallas is a fairly large public school located in the city of Richardson.
