Our 2023 rankings named Harvard University the most popular school in the United States for astronomy and astrophysics students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Cambridge, Harvard is a private not-for-profit school with a very large student population.
Of the 17 students majoring in astronomy at Harvard, 47% are male and 53% are female.
