This report analyzed 217 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Mathematics program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Maryland - College Park the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for mathematics students working on their bachelor’s degree. UMCP is a very large public school located in the suburb of College Park.

Women make up 30% of the math majors at the school.

Math majors at UMCP take out an average of $20,982 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $382.

Out of the 217 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Binghamton University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Binghamton University is a large public school located in the medium-sized suburb of Vestal.
