Our 2023 rankings named Grand Canyon University the most popular school in the Southwest Region for nursing students working on their master’s degree. Grand Canyon University is a very large private for-profit school located in the city of Phoenix.
Women make up 90% of the nursing majors at the school.
The in-demand master’s degree programs at The University of Texas at Arlington helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular nursing schools in the Southwest Region . Located in the large city of Arlington, UT Arlington is a public school with a fairly large student population.
Women make up 88% of the nursing majors at the school.

Out of the 62 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Aspen University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the city of Denver, Aspen University is a private for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population.
