Our 2023 rankings named Northeastern University the most popular school in the New England Region for civil engineering students working on their bachelor’s degree. Northeastern is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Boston.

Of the 107 students majoring in civil eng at Northeastern, 64% are male and 36% are female.

Out of the 22 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Connecticut landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the large suburb of Storrs, UCONN is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 24% of the students majoring in civil eng at the school are women while 76% are male.
