This report analyzed 95 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular graduate certificate programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Engineering Technologies program at each school on the list.

Fayetteville, AR

Our 2023 rankings named University of Arkansas the most popular school in the United States for engineering technologies students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the city of Fayetteville, UARK is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 219 students majoring in engineering tech at UARK, 70% are male and 30% are female.

Out of the 95 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Missouri University of Science and Technology landed the # 2 spot on the list. Missouri University of Science and Technology is a medium-sized public school located in the remote town of Rolla.

Of the 112 students majoring in engineering tech at Missouri University of Science and Technology, 92% are male and 8% are female.

Charleston, IL

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at Eastern Illinois University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular engineering technologies schools in the United States. EIU is a medium-sized public school located in the town of Charleston.

About 40% of the students majoring in engineering tech at the school are women while 60% are male.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Ohio University - Athens Campus. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Most Popular Engineering Technologies Graduate Certificate Schools list. OHIO Athens is a very large public school located in the distant town of Athens.
