To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our 2023 rankings named American College of Education the most popular online school in the Great Lakes Region for education students. Located in the large city of Indianapolis, American College of Education is a private for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Ball State University is a great place for education students pursuing an online degree. Located in the city of Muncie, Ball State is a public school with a very large student population.
