This report analyzed 60 schools in California to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the General Education program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for education majors pursuing a master's degree.

Our 2023 rankings named National University the most popular school in California for general education students working on their master’s degree. National University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of La Jolla.

About 70% of the students majoring in education at the school are women while 30% are male.
