Our 2023 rankings named University of Maryland Global Campus the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for information technology students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large suburb of Adelphi, UMGC is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 322 students majoring in IT at UMGC, 75% are male and 25% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, IT graduates from UMGC carry an average student debt load of $25,792.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at John Jay College of Criminal Justice helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular information technology schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . Located in the city of New York, John Jay is a public college with a large student population.

Of the 184 students majoring in IT at John Jay, 80% are male and 20% are female.

On average, IT graduates from John Jay take out $19,590 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

Rochester Institute of Technology did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for information technology students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #6 on the list. RIT is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Rochester.
