To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Journalism program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Georgia State University the most popular school in the Southeast Region for journalism students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large city of Atlanta, Georgia State is a public college with a fairly large student population.
Of the 179 students majoring in journalism at Georgia State, 25% are male and 75% are female.
