This report analyzed 160 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular online bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our analysis found Western Governors University to be the most popular school for accounting students who want to pursue an online bachelor’s degree in the United States. Located in the large suburb of Salt Lake City, WGU is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

About 66% of the students majoring in accounting at the school are women while 34% are male.

Accounting majors at WGU take out an average of $24,868 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.
