This report analyzed 55 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Zoology program at each school on the list.

Gainesville, FL

Our analysis found University of Florida to be the most popular school for zoology students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. UF is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Gainesville.

Women make up 60% of the zoology majors at the school.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Nebraska - Lincoln is a great place for zoology students working on their master’s degree. Located in the large city of Lincoln, UNL is a public college with a very large student population.

About 56% of the students majoring in zoology at the school are women while 44% are male.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of California - Davis. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Zoology Master’s Degree Schools list. UC Davis is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Davis.

About 82% of the students majoring in zoology at the school are women while 18% are male.
