This report analyzed 34 schools in Colorado to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Colorado Boulder to be the most popular school for students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Colorado. Boulder, Colorado is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 7,404 students in 2020-2021.
In-state students pay an average of $12,610 in tuition and fees if they attend CU - Boulder full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $38,358. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $20,697 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 47% were women.

You’ll be in good company if you attend Colorado State University - Fort Collins. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Colorado list. Colorado State is a public institution located in Fort Collins, Colorado. The school has a large population, and it awarded 5,528 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Full-time students from Colorado pay an average of $10,994 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend UCCS. Out-of-state students pay an average of $22,270. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $24,627 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 56% were women.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since UCCS does offer online classes for certain majors. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 43% took at least some of their classes online.

University of Northern Colorado did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. University of Northern Colorado is a fairly large public school situated in Greeley, Colorado. It awarded 2,032 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

With a ranking of #9, University of Denver did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for students working on their bachelor’s degree. DU is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Denver, Colorado. It awarded 1,689 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
The average tuition and fees at DU is $54,819. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. United States Air Force Academy ranked #12 on this year’s Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Colorado list. USAF Academy, Colorado is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 1,057 students in 2020-2021.
Around 28% of those degree recipients were women.
Regis University ranked #13 on this year’s Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Colorado list. Located in Denver, Colorado, the medium-sized private not-for-profit school awarded 877 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.
If you want to attend Regis U, expect to pay an average of $39,610 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid.
