This report analyzed 48 schools in the New England Region to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Visual & Performing Arts program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Yale University to be the most popular school for visual and performing arts students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the New England Region . Yale is a large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of New Haven.

Of the 210 students majoring in visual and performing arts at Yale, 47% are male and 53% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Berklee College of Music helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular visual and performing arts schools in the New England Region . Berklee College of Music is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Boston.

Women make up 53% of the visual and performing arts majors at the school.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at The New England Conservatory of Music helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular visual and performing arts schools in the New England Region . Located in the large city of Boston, The New England Conservatory of Music is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.

Of the 122 students majoring in visual and performing arts at The New England Conservatory of Music, 51% are male and 49% are female.

About 58% of the students majoring in visual and performing arts at the school are women while 42% are male.

With a ranking of #7, Longy School of Music of Bard College did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for visual and performing arts students working on their master’s degree.
