Our calculations use out-of-state tuition and fees in our nationwide and regional rankings. For statewide rankings, we use average in-state tuition and fees.
Best Oklahoma Schools for Affordable Quality in Music
Our 2023 rankings named Oklahoma State University - Main Campus the best value school in Oklahoma for music students. OSU is a very large public school located in the distant town of Stillwater.
The average tuition and fees for an in-state undergraduate at OSU are $9,244 a year.
OSU not only placed well in our value ranking, but it is also #1 on our Best Music Schools in Oklahoma list.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Central Oklahoma is a great value for music students. UCO is a large public school located in the large suburb of Edmond.
