Our 2023 rankings named Los Angeles Film School the most popular school in California for film, video and photographic arts students working on their bachelor’s degree. LA Film School is a moderately-sized private for-profit school located in the city of Hollywood.

Of the 240 students majoring in film at LA Film School, 72% are male and 28% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, film graduates from LA Film School carry an average student debt load of $40,956. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $348.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means San Francisco State University is a great place for film, video and photographic arts students working on their bachelor’s degree. SFSU is a very large public school located in the large city of San Francisco.

Of the 238 students majoring in film at SFSU, 62% are male and 38% are female.
