To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Dance program at each school on the list.

San Marcos, TX

Our 2023 rankings named Texas State University the most popular school in Texas for dance students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the small city of San Marcos, Texas State is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 45 students majoring in dance at Texas State, 9% are male and 91% are female.

On average, dance graduates from Texas State take out $21,693 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $184.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Texas Woman’s University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular dance schools in Texas. Located in the city of Denton, TWU is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 22 students majoring in dance at TWU, 18% are male and 82% are female.

On average, dance graduates from TWU take out $20,906 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

Women make up 90% of the dance majors at the school.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Texas Christian University helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular dance schools in Texas. Located in the city of Fort Worth, TCU is a private not-for-profit college with a large student population.

Of the 20 students majoring in dance at TCU, 15% are male and 85% are female.

Of the 17 students majoring in dance at UNT, 12% are male and 88% are female.

The average amount in student loans that dance majors at UNT take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $23,973.
