This report analyzed 40 schools in the Far Western US Region to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Economics program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Southern California the most popular school in the Far Western US Region for economics students working on their master’s degree. USC is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Los Angeles.
Women make up 56% of the economics majors at the school.
