About 19% of the students majoring in economics at the school are women while 81% are male.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Columbia University in the City of New York is a great place for economics students working on their doctor’s degree. Columbia is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of New York.

About 46% of the students majoring in economics at the school are women while 54% are male.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at New York University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular economics schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . Located in the large city of New York, NYU is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
