Our 2023 rankings named Upper Iowa University the best school in the Plains States Region for criminology students. Located in the remote area of Fayette, UIU is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Minnesota - Duluth is a great place for criminology students. UMN Duluth is a moderately-sized public school located in the small city of Duluth.

With a ranking of #9, Northwest Missouri State University did quite well on this year’s best schools for criminology students. Northwest is a medium-sized public school located in the town of Maryville.
