To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Archeology program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for archeology majors pursuing a master's degree.

Our analysis found Indiana University of Pennsylvania - Main Campus to be the most popular school for archeology students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. IUP is a medium-sized public school located in the town of Indiana.

Women make up 67% of the archeology majors at the school.

Out of the 19 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Center for Advanced Studies On Puerto Rico and the Caribbean landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the large city of San Juan, Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y El Caribe is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population.

About 25% of the students majoring in archeology at the school are women while 75% are male.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Texas A&M University - College Station is a great place for archeology students working on their master’s degree. Located in the midsize city of College Station, Texas A&M College Station is a public college with a fairly large student population.

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means Boston University is a great place for archeology students working on their master’s degree. Boston U is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Boston.
