Our 2023 rankings named Duke University the most popular school in the Southeast Region for public policy students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large city of Durham, Duke is a private not-for-profit college with a large student population.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Public Policy Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region list. Located in the small city of Chapel Hill, UNC Chapel Hill is a public college with a fairly large student population.

About 69% of the students majoring in public policy at the school are women while 31% are male.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, public policy graduates from UNC Chapel Hill carry an average student debt load of $14,964. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $271.

Regent University came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Public Policy Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. Located in the large city of Virginia Beach, Regent is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

About 54% of the students majoring in public policy at the school are women while 46% are male.
