Our 2023 rankings named University of Connecticut the most popular school in Connecticut for general psychology students working on their bachelor’s degree. UCONN is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Storrs.

About 73% of the students majoring in psychology at the school are women while 27% are male.

Psychology majors at UCONN take out an average of $22,314 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $376, based on a 10-year repayment plan.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Central Connecticut State University is a great place for general psychology students working on their bachelor’s degree. CCSU is a moderately-sized public school located in the suburb of New Britain.

Of the 134 students majoring in psychology at CCSU, 15% are male and 85% are female.

On average, psychology graduates from CCSU take out $25,634 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $124, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Sacred Heart University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular general psychology schools in Connecticut. Sacred Heart is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Fairfield.

Of the 121 students majoring in psychology at Sacred Heart, 10% are male and 90% are female.

Out of the 19 schools in Connecticut that were part of this year’s ranking, University of New Haven landed the # 5 spot on the list. University of New Haven is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of West Haven.
