Our analysis found University of Connecticut to be the most popular school for physical sciences students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Connecticut. UCONN is a very large public school located in the suburb of Storrs.

Of the 88 students majoring in physical sciences at UCONN, 59% are male and 41% are female.

Middletown, CT

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Wesleyan University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular physical sciences schools in Connecticut. Located in the small city of Middletown, Wesleyan U is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.

Women make up 39% of the physical sciences majors at the school.

New Haven, CT

Out of the 17 schools in Connecticut that were part of this year’s ranking, Yale University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Yale is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of New Haven.

Women make up 32% of the physical sciences majors at the school.

Of the 20 students majoring in physical sciences at CCSU, 70% are male and 30% are female.

Eastern Connecticut State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for physical sciences students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #8 on the list. Located in the town of Willimantic, ECSU is a public school with a small student population.
