This report analyzed 67 schools in the New England Region to see which ones were the most popular programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Physics program at each school on the list.

The following schools top our list of the Most Popular Physics Colleges.

Our analysis found Massachusetts Institute of Technology to be the most popular school for physics students who want to pursue a degree in the New England Region . MIT is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Cambridge.

The average amount in student loans that physics majors at MIT take out is $15,269.
