This report analyzed 157 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Physics program at each school on the list.

The following schools top our list of the Most Popular Physics Bachelor's Degree Colleges.

Our analysis found University of Maryland - College Park to be the most popular school for physics students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Middle Atlantic Region . Located in the large suburb of College Park, UMCP is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 81 students majoring in physics at UMCP, 79% are male and 21% are female.

Stony Brook, NY

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Stony Brook University is a great place for physics students working on their bachelor’s degree. SUNY Stony Brook is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Stony Brook.
