Our 2023 rankings named University of Pennsylvania the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for chemistry students working on their doctor’s degree. UPenn is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Philadelphia.

About 42% of the students majoring in chemistry at the school are women while 58% are male.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Cornell University is a great place for chemistry students working on their doctor’s degree. Cornell is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Ithaca.
