Our analysis found University of Connecticut to be the most popular school for chemistry students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Connecticut. UCONN is a very large public school located in the suburb of Storrs.

Of the 44 students majoring in chemistry at UCONN, 55% are male and 45% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, chemistry graduates from UCONN carry an average student debt load of $22,280. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $436, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Southern Connecticut State University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular chemistry schools in Connecticut. Located in the medium-sized city of New Haven, SCSU is a public college with a medium-sized student population.

About 56% of the students majoring in chemistry at the school are women while 44% are male.

Chemistry majors at SCSU take out an average of $23,149 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.
