This report analyzed 13 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Forestry program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Georgia the most popular school in the Southeast Region for forestry students working on their master’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Athens, UGA is a public college with a very large student population.
About 36% of the students majoring in forestry at the school are women while 64% are male.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Florida is a great place for forestry students working on their master’s degree. UF is a very large public school located in the medium-sized city of Gainesville.
