Our analysis found Virginia Tech to be the most popular school for forestry students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Southeast Region . Located in the small city of Blacksburg, Virginia Tech is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 101 students majoring in forestry at Virginia Tech, 62% are male and 38% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend North Carolina State University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Forestry Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region list. NC State is a fairly large public school located in the city of Raleigh.

About 24% of the students majoring in forestry at the school are women while 76% are male.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means University of Florida is a great place for forestry students working on their bachelor’s degree. UF is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Gainesville.

Women make up 55% of the forestry majors at the school.
