Our 2023 rankings named University of Oklahoma Norman Campus the most popular school in the United States for international studies students working on their master’s degree. University of Oklahoma is a very large public school located in the midsize suburb of Norman.

Women make up 32% of the international studies majors at the school.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend American Public University System. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular International Studies Master’s Degree Schools list. American Military University is a fairly large private for-profit school located in the town of Charles Town.

About 22% of the students majoring in international studies at the school are women while 78% are male.

Philadelphia, PA

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means University of Pennsylvania is a great place for international studies students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of Philadelphia, UPenn is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 69 students majoring in international studies at UPenn, 61% are male and 39% are female.

Out of the 46 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Northeastern University Professional Advancement Network landed the # 4 spot on the list. Northeastern University Professional Advancement Network is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Boston.

Of the 60 students majoring in international studies at Northeastern University Professional Advancement Network, 33% are male and 67% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Florida International University helped the school earn the #5 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular international studies schools in the United States. FIU is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Miami.

With a ranking of #6, George Mason University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for international studies students working on their master’s degree. GMU is a very large public school located in the suburb of Fairfax.

Of the 37 students majoring in international studies at GMU, 24% are male and 76% are female.

Notre Dame, IN

University of Notre Dame did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for international studies students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in the suburb of Notre Dame, Notre Dame is a private not-for-profit college with a large student population.

Of the 29 students majoring in international studies at Notre Dame, 28% are male and 72% are female.

Oklahoma State University - Main Campus came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular International Studies Master’s Degree Schools ranking. Located in the distant town of Stillwater, OSU is a public college with a very large student population.
