Our 2023 rankings named University of California - Irvine the most popular school in the Far Western US Region for mathematics students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large city of Irvine, UC Irvine is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 292 students majoring in math at UC Irvine, 63% are male and 37% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, math graduates from UC Irvine carry an average student debt load of $15,946.

Out of the 109 schools in the Far Western US Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of California - San Diego landed the # 2 spot on the list. UCSD is a very large public school located in the large city of La Jolla.

Of the 219 students majoring in math at UCSD, 58% are male and 42% are female.

The average amount in student loans that math majors at UCSD take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $16,816.
