To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Liberal Arts General Studies program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of North Texas to be the most popular school for liberal arts general studies students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Southwest Region . UNT is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Denton.

About 56% of the students majoring in liberal arts at the school are women while 44% are male.

On average, liberal arts graduates from UNT take out $24,165 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $218.
