Out of all the majors we analyze each year, law was ranked #28 in the country. In fact 36,216 degrees and certificates were handed out in 2020-2021.
There are so many programs in today's world that it can tough to figure out which one is the right one for you. This report analyzed 52 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Law program at each school on the list.

Top 10 Most Popular Law Schools
Our 2023 rankings named University of Miami the most popular school in the Southeast Region for law students. Located in the city of Coral Gables, U Miami is a private not-for-profit college with a large student population.
The excellent programs at University of Virginia - Main Campus helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best law schools in the Southeast Region . Located in the small suburb of Charlottesville, University of Virginia is a public school with a fairly large student population.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Emory University. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Law Schools in the Southeast Region list. Emory is a large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Atlanta.
Out of the 52 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Florida landed the # 4 spot on the list. UF is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Gainesville.

Tulane University of Louisiana ranked #9 on this year’s Most Popular Law Schools in the Southeast Region list. Located in the large city of New Orleans, Tulane is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
With a ranking of #10, University of Georgia did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for law students. Located in the city of Athens, UGA is a public college with a very large student population.
