To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the History program at each school on the list.

New Haven, CT

Our 2023 rankings named Yale University the most popular school in Connecticut for history students working on their bachelor’s degree. Yale is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of New Haven.

About 47% of the students majoring in history at the school are women while 53% are male.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Connecticut is a great place for history students working on their bachelor’s degree. UCONN is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Storrs.

Of the 78 students majoring in history at UCONN, 63% are male and 37% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, history graduates from UCONN carry an average student debt load of $20,298. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $333.

Of the 45 students majoring in history at CCSU, 69% are male and 31% are female.
